Our office and dentistry has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during this pandemic and in the future - we have updated and have effectively implemented all the necessary Infection Prevention and Control standards.
All these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for everyone! Our operating hours will be reduced as we adjust to this new ‘normal’ so please be patient with us. Thank you for patience and loyalty throughout this ordeal.
When we see you at your next appointment, there will be the following changes:
A PRE-appointment screening will be completed 2 days prior to appointment. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you’re in the office.
Your temperature will be taken upon arrival.
You will be asked to complete and sign a COVID-19 Risk Form upon arrival.
You will be asked to wait outside our office or in your car and call us when you arrive and then wait for a call back to let you know when you can enter the office.
You will be asked to bring and wear a mask at all times until you are seen.
You will be asked to sanitize your hands when you enter the clinic.
Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines or children’s toys since those items are difficult to fully disinfect. There will be limited seating as well - ONLY patients with scheduled appts. are allowed in.
Only children and infant patients are to be accompanied to appointments.
Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean less flexibility for scheduling your appointment.
You may be surprised and not be able to recognize your dentist/hygienist as they’ll be wearing way more protective gear: such as masks, face shields, gowns – than they normally do during your visit!
10min. gap between every patient to allow for fallow time (clearing the air of aerosols) as the HVAC Air Purifiers run.
Mandatory 10 min wait time between each patient seen to allow for operatory cleaning, air purifying, and minimizing contact with others.
HVAC Air Purifiers running throughout the appointment in every room to improve air quality and prevent cross-contamination.
